אברהם אופק
זוג וסירה, צבעי מים על נייר, 25x35 ס"מ, חתום, עבודה איכותית. אברהם אופק, ישראלי, יליד בולגריה, 1990-1935. בשנת 1949 עלה לישראל והשתקע בקיבוץ עין המפרץ, שם למד ציור תחת הדרכתו של הצייר אריה רוטמן. יצירתו המוקדמת כללה תיאורים של חיות, של מכונות חקלאיות, תיאורי נוף של הקיבוץ, אזור ואדי ערה ויפו, וכן דימויים של פועלים. בשנת 1958 נסע אופק לאיטליה כדי להשתלם ובציור קיר באקדמיה לאמנויות יפות בפירנצה. תחת השפעת אמנות ציורי הקיר, שנתפשה בידי אופק כמדיום העיקרי ביצירתו. בסוף שנות השישים ובמהלך שנות השבעים היה שותף לפעילות אוונגרדית במסגרת קבוצת "משקוף" ואחר כך במסגרת קבוצת "לוויתן", אותה הקים עם שמואל אקרמן ומיכאל גרובמן. הקבוצה, שהוקמה בשנת 1976, ביקשה לשלב בין סימבוליזם, מטאפיזיקה ויהדות ואמנות מושגית וסביבתית. אופק הציג במיטב הגלריות והמוזיאונים בארץ.
