"הים קורא לנו!", כרזה מטעם "החבל הימי לישראל" אשר נדפסה בעקבות הכרזת העצמאות של מדינת ישראל. דפוס "הפועל המזרחי", תל-אביב, אייר תש"ח (1948).
"התגשם חזון דורות. מדינת ישראל קמה. בטחונה, עצמאותה ועצם קיומה תלויים בכח עמידתו של הישוב במלחמה ובמדת הכושר, אשר עם ישראל יגלה, כדי להחיות את אדמת המולדת ולהקים ימאות עברית עצמאית... אל ממשלתנו – ממשלת ישראל – ואל העם היהודי פונה החבל הימי לישראל: נגבירה עוזנו בימים!".
אגודת "החבל הימי לישראל" (חי"ל) היא אגודה להכשרה ימית ולהעמקת התודעה הימית, אשר נוסדה ב-1936.
