1. Levant Fair (Member of the International Fair Association), patron: High Commissioner to Palestine, Sir Arthur Wauchope, catalogue. [Tel-Aviv, 1934]. Hebrew, English and Arabic. A catalogue printed for the Levant Fair in 1934, held in Tel-Aviv between the dates 26.4-26.5. The catalogue includes greetings from Arthur Wauchope and trade ministers from the participating countries, as well as lists of exhibitors (in alphabetic order, by country of origin and by kind of merchandise), two photomontage works showing the exhibition facilities and the visitors, four maps and more. The catalogue also includes a significant section with advertisements, many of which are illustrated, of various commercial enterprises in Palestine. [402] pp, (varying pagination) + [4] maps, approx. 30.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, folds and stamps. Small tears. Stains, creases and tears in the cover and spine (nylon-wrapped cover).
2-3. Two photographed postcards of the Levant Fair of 1934: * General view of the Fair. Stamped on verso with the photographer's stamp: "Photo Eugen Spiegel Tel-Aviv" and another stamp. * A souvenir postcard from the Fair, published by Pinhassovitz & Schwartz.
Approx. 14x9cm. Good condition. Minor creases and a few stains. Pen writing on verso of one of the postcards.
