“Name Rank and Station of Quartermasters Eleventh Corps.” Jewish men included are SILAS ROSENDALE, Captain AAQM, 68th New York Infantry and JULIUS HEIMBURG, Lieutenant, 27th Pennsylvania Infantry. Others possibly.
January, 1864
The corps was heavily German and is perhaps best remembered for being routed at Chancellorsville by Stonewall Jackson’s flank attack.
