Provenance: On a very busy Christmas Day at The Walpole Bay Hotel in Margate where Tracey Emin frequented, Tracey commented to the owner (Jane Bishop) that she looked like a Banshee. She then proceeded to draw a portrait of Jane while sat at the bar on one of the hotels napkins and gifted it to her.
The artwork comes directly from Jane Bishop (The Banshee of Margate). The proceeds of this sale are going towards The Historic Walpole Veranda Restoration.
