Michael Nicholas Salvatore Bongiorno, known as Mike (New York, May 26, 1924 – Monte Carlo, September 8, 2009), was an Italian television and radio host with American citizenship, considered among those who founded television in Italy.
He was nicknamed the king of quizzes for having hosted numerous game shows, including Lascia o doppia?, Rischiatutto, Scommetto? and Flash for Rai, and Superflash, Pentatlon, Telemike, Bis, La ruota della fortuna and others, for Mediaset. He is also nicknamed "SuperMike".
He is in second place for number of editions presented (11, of which 5 consecutive) of the Sanremo Festival, behind Pippo Baudo.
