Orietta Berti, pseudonym of Orietta Galimberti, married Paterlini (Cavriago, 1 June 1943), is an Italian singer, television personality and actress. Nicknamed by Silvio Gigli the Capinera d'Emilia (but better known as the Nightingale of Cavriago), during her almost sixty-year career she has sold over sixteen million records, consequently obtaining six gold records, seven platinum and two silver. Her records have also been published in various countries around the world, including Austria, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, France, Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Japan. She was one of the protagonists of Italian music in the sixties and seventies, together with Ornella Vanoni, Patty Pravo (the Civetta of Venice), Mia Martini, Mina (the Tigress of Cremona), Iva Zanicchi (the Eagle of Ligonchio) and Milva (the Panther of Goro). In the 2020s she found great popularity again thanks to her participation in the seventy-first Sanremo Festival and following the release of the hit single Mille, with Fedez and Achille Lauro.
