JARNO TRULLI - HELMET REPLICA
Jarno Trulli (Pescara, 13 July 1974) is a former Italian racing driver, who participated in the Formula 1 World Championship from 1997 to 2011.
The name Jarno was chosen by his parents Enzo and Franca in homage to the memory of the Finnish motorcycle racer Jarno Saarinen.
Trulli came into contact with the world of motors at the age of nine, when he began driving karts.[3] The Abruzzese achieved various successes both in the Italian categories, with the conquest of three consecutive titles, from 1988 to 1990 in the 100 SA class, and in the international ones with the victory of the world championship in 1991 in the same category and in 125 in 1994. He also managed to win the first two editions of the Memorial Senna and in North America. In 1995 he made his debut in German F3, driving for the KMS team and taking two wins in the twelve races of the championship. He then finished in fourth place in the drivers' standings and second in the Macau Grand Prix. 1996 saw the domination of the Italian driver who won the category title with 206 points.
JORDAN
The move to Jordan did not give Trulli the results he had hoped for: the Abruzzo driver, in fact, did not go beyond six points earned. After a retirement in the Australian Grand Prix, he took fourth place in Brazil. A sixth place in Great Britain followed and some modest results until the Monaco Grand Prix, in which the Italian driver put his car on the front row, alongside Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher. During the race he managed to maintain second position until he was forced to retire due to a failure. In the following two races Trulli twice finished sixth, but in the remaining races he had disappointing results both due to the poor competitiveness of the cars and to an error by Jenson Button, who eliminated him at the Belgian Grand Prix while the two were fighting for third place, and by the race stewards in Germany, who wrongly gave him a stop & go, depriving him of second place. The Abruzzese finished the season tenth behind his teammate Frentzen with six points. The 2001 championship was slightly better. After a season start with two disappointing races Trulli managed to score three consecutive points finishes, which took him to sixth place in the drivers' standings, but a second part of the season characterized by frequent retirements did not allow him to go beyond a fifth place at the French Grand Prix and a fourth in the United States. The Pescara native ended the season with twelve points equal with Jacques Villeneuve and Nick Heidfeld.
