A View of the Telegraph, Cambridge, is an original hand-colored engraving in blue and brown tones of driver Richard Vaughan, known as Hell Fire Dick, immortalized by British portrait painter, printmaker, and caricaturist Robert Dighton. Inscribed on lower left of plate: Drawn, Etch, Pub, May 1809, by Dighton. On lower center: A View of the Telegraph, Cambridge. Housed in a gilded and brown wood frame. Sight size: 6"L x 9.75"H. Frame size: 7"L x 10.50"H x 0.50"W.
