A Pennsylvania One-Gallon Salt Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Attributed to Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, Circa 1875. Unsigned, having cobalt blue hand brushed foliate decoration to the front, around spout and handle, tooled collar and shoulder, having an applied strap handle and tooled foot.
Dimensions: 9 1/2in; width 6 1/2in; depth 7 1/4in.
Condition:
With typical imperfections and discoloration from firing and glazing. There is a diagonal hairline crack to the rim that travels through the body onto the left floral motif.
