Locati LLC is proud to present American Furniture and Silver from the Collection of C Thomas Attix, Jr., who was a lifelong collector of American material culture with a particular fondness of furniture, coin silver, and Oriental rugs. His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.
