His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

Pennsylvania Sheraton Cherry Bow Front Chest of Drawers
A Pennsylvania Sheraton Cherry Bow Front Chest of Drawers, Circa 1820. The two board rectangular top with elliptic front over a conforming case, fitted with four graduated drawers above a scalloped skirt, flanked by reeding and sunken paneled sides, raised on ring-turned tapered legs. Tulip poplar and pine secondary woods.
Dimensions: Height 41in; width 40 1/4in; depth 23in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Retaining an old dry surface. The pressed brass pulls appear to be original. General marks, wear, abrasions, nicks and surface scratches. toning and polish residue to the hardware.
