Glenna Goodacre (1939-2020), Christina, Terracotta Relief, a terracotta relief of a woman with her hand at her shoulder, signed front lower left 'G Goodacre 1995,' also marked 'Glenna Goodacre' on verso.
A sculptor from Texas, Glenna Goodacre had a long and prolific career working in a variety of media. She trained at the Arts Student League in New York. Goodacre is most celebrated for creating the Vietnam WomenÕs Memorial on the mall in Washington, D.C., and is also widely recognized for the design for the United States millennium dollar coin with the image of Sacagawea and her infant son, Jean Baptist.
