AN IMPORTANT COLOR-CHANGE GARNET AND DIAMOND RING - Centered with an oval-cut color-change spessartine-pyrope garnet weighing 32.41 carats, flanked by a pair of trilliant-cut diamonds, to the pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond half-hoop, mounted in platinum, diamonds weighing approximately 2.20 carats in total, ring size 6¾ The 32.41 carats was graded by the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF), Gübelin Gem Lab and American Gemological Laboratories as the largest color-change garnet up to date. This extraordinary gemstone will certainly catch the attention of investors and collectors alike. Accompanied by a report from the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF), stating that the natural colour-changing garnet is slightly greenish brown color in daylight and red color in incandescent light with distinct colour-change, (also accompanied by an appendix stating the garnet “is the largest colour-changing garnet so far certified at the Swiss Gemmological Institute SSEF”), originates from East-Africa and has no indications of any treatment, report no. 60813, dated 29th September 2011 Accompanied by a report from the Gübelin Gem Lab, stating that the 32.41 carat natural colour-change garnet is orangy-brown color in daylight and red color in incandescent light, (also accompanied by an appendix stating that “This phenomenon is a rare occurrence in garnet, especially in combination with a large size, as in the present case”), report no. 11097149, dated 1st October 2011 Accompanied by a report from the Gübelin Gem Lab, stating that the 32.41 carat natural garnet is orangy brown color in daylight and red color in artificial light with distinct color change, (also accompanied by an appendix stating that “This phenomenon is a rare occurrence in garnet, especially in combination with a large size, as in the present case”), report no. 8903042, dated 20th March 1989 Accompanied by a report from the American Gemological Laboratories, stating that the 32.41 carat natural garnet displays a change of color when viewed under different lighting conditions, (also accompanied by an appendix stating that “Never before has the AGL examined a color-changing garnet of this size.”), and has no gemological evidence of enhancements/treatments present and clarity enhancement none, report no.
