A CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE AND YELLOW-GROUND SGRAFFITO BOWL, 20TH CENTURY. With underglaze blue six character apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, decorated with roundels of birds perched on flowering branches or rockwork, reserved against a yellow ground decorated with flowers and scrollwork, below a gilt lined rim, 17.7cm diam.
Provenance
Property of an English Gentleman, acquired in Taiwan in the 1970s. Overall in good order. Slight wear to gilt rim, very minor discolouration to celadon glazed interior. Minute wear to enamels.
