A LARGE COLLECTION OF MEDICAL RECORDS, LETTERS AND PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE PERSONAL ARCHIVE OF DR G.W. MILLEDGE WHILE WORKING IN TSANGCHOW, CHINA, CIRCA 1929-50. Comprising: approximately 24 folders of medical notes, records, annual reports and accounts. Many loose hand written and typed letters, personal correspondence and photographs of medical/surgical conditions treated by Dr Milledge while in Tsangchow, Northern China, from c.1929-1950 alongside contemporary images of China taken during his travels. Together with a bound copy of Handel's Messiah, circa 1956 and Songs of Cathay, an anthology of Chinese songs compiled by T.Z. Koo, 5th Edition, pub. Kwang Hsueh Publishing House, Shanghai. Provenance: Property of Dr.G.W.Milledge acquired during his time in China c.1930s, thence by descent.
