A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE WINE CUP, QING DYNASTY. In the form of a stylised open flower, to the exterior rim a band on incised key fret with a scroll strap handle pendant beneath a taotie mask projecting to the side. Jade weight 78.4 grams. 8.1cm length. Together with a copy of Insurance valuation from Sotheby & Co. London 1974. Provenance: Property of Dr.G.W.Milledge acquired during his time in China c.1930s, thence by descent. Slight chip to foot.
