A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE VASE, QIANLONG PERIOD (1735-96). Flattened ovoid body on a short tapered foot leading into a tall cylindrical neck and rolled rim. Well carved in low relief to the exterior with bands of four-petaled flower heads, leaf lappets and stylised dragons. On a carved and pierced wood stand. Jade 12.3cm tall without stand. Weight of jade 185.5 grams. 2cm hairline running diagonally from rolled rim. No repairs.
