A CHINESE EMBROIDERED GLASSES CASE, A SILK PURSE, A BABY'S PILLOW, A DOLL'S WHITE LINEN ROBE AND OTHER ITEMS. Comprising: a red silk glasses case embroidered IN silver and gold thread with cranes and a character, a blue silk purse embroidered with peaches and bats, the pillow embroidered with floral red silk panels and a small painted composite figure of a seated woman in blue robe. (5). Provenance: Property of Dr.G.W.Milledge acquired during his time in China c.1930s, thence by descent. The glasses case - with some loose metallic threads and slight losses, small hole to red silk ground. The remaining textile items with some minor wear. The figure with repaired break to one arm. Otherwise in good order.
