A CHINESE QINGBAI WARE PORCELAIN EWER, SONG DYNASTY (960-1279). Flattened shoulder on a rounded lower section with ribbed strap handles and spout, with a lion finial cover. 19cm tall. Provenance: Property of a Lancashire family. Minor firing faults around finial with slight chips to inside of cover rim with one hairline. Repairs to joins of handle noticeable by yellowish staining in areas to handle. Minor shallow chips to interior of rim.
