A CHINESE QINGBAI WARE CUP AND STAND, SONG DYNASTY (960-1279). The cup with wide flared rim on straight foot; Together with a stand with shallow rising sides into an everted with and central platform for the cup. Covered in a pale greenish white glaze with visible crackle to the cup throughout. Cup 10cm diam. Stand 12.5cm diam. (2) Provenance: Property of a Lancashire family. One slight nick to the rim of the cup. Another slight minor chip to the edge of the cup platform rim. No signs of repairs.
