TWO CHINESE QINGBAI WARE BOWLS, SONG DYNASTY (960-1279). The first a 'Boys' bowl with carved decoration of two boys amongst leafy scrolls. Together with a foliate bowl with six lobed sides decorated with stylised floral scrolls. Both covered in a pale bluish glaze. 18.5cm and 20.7cm diam. (2) Provenance: Property of a Lancashire family. Boys bowl with chips to rim with hairlines and star hairline to body. The other bowl with repaired section to rim and further hairlines.
