A CHINESE TANG DYNASTY SANCAI GLAZED CIRCULAR BOWL AND A COVER, TANG DYNASTY (618-907AD). Mottled in green and amber glazes, the cover probably matched. 11.7cm diam. Provenance: Purchased in Woolley and Wallis, 21 May 2008, lot 636. Property of a Lancashire family. The cover probably matched, with rim chip 2.3cm long and a further smaller chip besides this. Some typical wear and glaze crazing.
