A CHINESE SKY BLUE GROUND AND GILT PORCELAIN TRIPOD CENSER, QIANLONG MARK, 18/19TH CENTURY. Heavily potted on three coned feet with two raised strap handles. Gilt decoration to the exterior with dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst ruyi head clouds, with three lions mask medallions at each foot, all below a key fret band around the neck and floral scrolls around the rim and handles. With six-character seal mark of Qianlong to base in underglaze blue. On a carved wooden stand. Censer size 25cm x 18cm tall. Provenance: Property of a local family inherited from their grandfather, acquired pre 1930. Good overall condition with no signs of damage or repairs. No cracks or chips and no signs or repair. Minor wear to gilt in places with expected wear to interior from use and age. One filled crack to wooden stand.
