A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DRAGON AND PHOENIX BOWL, MING DYNASTY. Rounded body on short straight foot decorated to the exterior with dragon and phoenix amidst clouds, further decorated to the interior with a carp rising up through waves. Double ring mark to base, Wanli period (1573-1620). 16.8cm diam. 2.5cm area of loss to foot. No other signs of damage and no signs of repair.
