Late 19th century, signed, maker's mark Fontaine et Durieux Paris, model number 2170, terracotta mat painted, group of figures in peasant costume, the grandfather carrying his grandson on his shoulders, paint partially overpainted, h 65 cm. Artist's note: Joseph le Guluche (1849 Plourvino to 1915 Vellejuif), French sculptor, active for the manufactories Villenauxe-la-Grande (Aube), L'Isle-Adam (Val-d'Oise) as well as Mauger and Letut.
