Pair of soldier portraits
probably portrait of a Hessian staff captain/knightmaster of the infantry and portrait of a Hessian staff captain/knightmaster of the artillery with Order of Louis and probably French/Belgian order, each in front of a dark blue ground, pastel, early 19th century, somewhat soiled and two inconspicuous tears, framed as counterparts behind glass, visible dimensions approx. 38 x 33.5 cm.
