Custom of Poland. Ashkenaz version. For the days of the week, Sabbath, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Hebrew with a German translation on facing pages, edited by Yosef Goldsmith. The pages of text are bordered.
Purplish binding with gilt and black Art Nouveau decorations. Gilt edges. The elegant design pattern repeats itself in the background and on the flyleaf.
The title page introduces a quote praising the translation: "יהיו דברי תורה נאמרים בלשונו של יפת, באהלי שם"
