He was one of the most important artists of the twentieth century. He was an exponent of Italian neorealist painting that expressed himself in the artists of the New Front of the Arts. His art, linked to expressionism, was also characterized by his social commitment that led him to political experience as a senator of the Italian Communist Party for two legislatures, during the secretariat of Enrico Berlinguer.
“Tavola imbandita” is a lithograph taken from the play by Eduardo De Filippo: The Contract. Edition 97/99. It has the certificate of authenticity from the "MANZONI ARTE" auction house in Alba Adriatica (IT) in which it was purchased by a private individual on 20/11/2012. Card size 50 x 70 cm. Condition: good.
