Zohar haTeiva, Berlin, 1769.
With Michseh HaTeiva at the end, on knowledge of Hebrew grammar. Printed by Avraham Yehoshua Heschel Draker (who operated in Lemberg in 1860). By Rav Shlomo Zalman HaKohen Henna (died 1747), an Ashkenazi sage and grammarian. Rabbi Yaakov Amdin (the Yaavetz), in his book “Luach Arash” attacks him bitterly and criticizes him (his father, HaKhacham Zvi, wrote an endorsement for his book Sha’arei Tefila, but in his criticism he claims that it is fake). In the book before us, the Rav Shlomo Zalman HaKohen responds to the criticism and answers all of Rabbi Yaakov Amdin’s claims. His figure remains controversial. Among the endorsers of his method are Rabbi Schneor Zalman of Liady, who listed his differences of opinion in his siddur (Admor HaZaken), and the Pri Migadim. [2], 83 pages. 18cm. Generally very good condition.
