Illegibly Signed Abstract Brutalist Engraving
Mid-Century Modern abstract Brutalist color engraving, illegibly signed in pencil to lower right, numbered "8/18", circa 1973, housed in a silvered frame. Image: 9.5" H x 6.5" W; frame: 16" H x 12.5" W. Provenance: Property from the Manhattan estate of Indrani Yogasundram who lived in many different countries with her husband, Yogaraj, during his decades-long career as a Sri Lankan diplomat. In addition to the heirloom jewelry she possessed, Indrani acquired jewelry, art, and ornaments while stationed in China (1960-63), Sri Lanka (1963-65), and Iraq (1965-1967).
Condition: This item is located in our storage facility at 36-01 35th St. Astoria, NY. Pick-up is from this storage facility in Astoria, NY. Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Complete condition information is available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the auction.
