D. Maria coffee pot in Portuguese silver by José Coelho Sampaio, 18/19th century. Baluster-shaped body, partially gummed decorated with beaded frieze, with swan neck beak topped by foliage. Handle in carved rosewood. With Porto mark (P-15), in use from c.1768 to 1810, and IC*S maker's mark (P-322.0), attributable to José Coelho Sampaio, dated from c.1784 to c.1910. Signs of use, scratches and small dents. Weight approx.: 1032 g.; Height approx.: 32.5 cm.
