Par de cadeiras D. João V/José, do séc. XVIII
Pair of D. João V/José chairs, from the 18th century, in rosewood. Scalloped neck decorated with windings, plant and stylized motifs. Hollow backrest with cut and hollow central table decorated with rosettes of flowers. Curved seats with trimmed skirts decorated, at the front, with fins, cartouche and stylized plant motifs. Protruding knees with profuse decoration of plant motifs, which extends along the curved legs, ending in claw and ball feet. Removable seats upholstered in patterned fabric in shades of beige. Stains, restorations, flaws and small defects. (2) Height approx.: 103 cm.
