Salva estilo D. José em prata portuguesa, séc. XVIII/XIX, P. 560 g.
Salvation of D. José in Portuguese silver, 18/19th Century. Scalloped edge decorated with shell motifs, windings, edge engraved with flowers and vegetal windings. Stands on three claw and ball feet. With Coimbra mark (C-4.0), registered in 1789, and P goldsmith mark (C-22.0), unidentified. Remarked with Porto mark (P-32.0 or variant) in use between 1843 and 1853 and IFG makers mark (P-327), attributable to José ferreira Guimarães, cited between 1799 and 1842. Back with traces of socket for central foot. Defects, cracks and scratches.
Approximate weight: 560 g.; diam. approx.: 30 cm.
