Toothpick holder in Portuguese silver, 19th Century and possibly later. Figure of Mercury in perfect shape, holding a bag, resting on a flattened ball on a faceted plinth. With Porto mark (P-36.0), dating from the mid-19th century, and CRA (P-220.0), attributable to Caetano Rodrigues da Silva Correia, dated from 1853 to 1861. Missing caduceus and a wing on the helmet. Small defects, possible alterations and scratches.
