Spanish pistol from the late 18th century manufactured by the gunsmith Juan Esteban Bustindui established in Eibar from 1780 to 1820. Octagonal barrel in the first half, changing to cylindrical, muzzle-loading, with cannonball reinforcement at the muzzle. The upper part is profusely decorated with vegetal motifs and fleur-de-lis, inlaid in gold, with the armorer's mark "BUS / TIN / DUI," surmounted by a royal crown. Lateral flintlock, originally converted to percussion in the mid-19th century, bearing the inscription "TALERO," profusely decorated with vegetal engravings. Exotic wood stock. Iron fittings with the same decoration. Wooden ramrod with yellow metal (non-original) worm. Gold without marks, over 50 years old, in accordance with Decree-Law 120/2017, of September 15 - art. 2, nº 2, letter c). Signs of use. Approx. total length: 35 cm; Approx. barrel length: 23.5 cm; Caliber: 16 mm.
