Handwritten and signed letter of blessings from Rabbi Chaim Leib Goldenberg to the Rabbi of Jerusalem with his request to remember him in his prayers at the holy places before the New Year. He also mentions that he's sending a Kvitel, and signs his name with his mother's name. Rabbi Chaim Leib Goldenberg (1879 - 1944) was the son of Rabbi Shalom Goldenberg, Av Beis Din of Svalyava, son–in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizek Weiss, Av Beis Din of Svalyava and author of Beis Yitzchak. Rabbi Chaim succeeded his father's position serving as the last Rabbi of Svalyava, where he also sustained a Chassidic-style yeshiva. Personal stationery 22.5 x 14.5 cm / All in his handwriting.
