Historic Letter Signes by the 3 Leading Gedolim, Rabbi Aharon Perlow of Koidanov, Rabbi Shmuel of Slonim, Rabbi Noah Naftali of Kabrin - Koidanov 1885 - נכתב אל ראשי כולל רייסין אודות רבי מרדכי לידער: ”ומסתמא יתנהגו עמו ביושר” Rabbi Aharon Perlow (Hebrew: אהרון פרלוב; 1839 – 1897) was the third Rebbe of the Koidanov Hasidic dynasty. He was a charismatic leader who attracted thousands of followers and effected a revival of the Koidanover dynasty founded by his grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlow (1797-1862). He authored several important works that became standard texts for Koidanover Hasidim to this day, including a siddur, Seder Tefilot Yisrael Or Hayashar (”The Direct Light: Order of Prayers of Israel”). Rabbi Shmuel Weinberg of Slonim (1850 - 1916) was the second Admor of the Slonim dynasty. A prominent and admired Chassidic leader, he was a disciple of his grandfather- the Admor Rabbi Avraham of Slonim, author of Yesod HaAvoda. He learned from other Chassidic giants as well. Following his grandfather’s passing, he succeeded his position despite his relatively young age of thirty-four. Rabbi Shmuel spent his devoted life immersed in holy and Heavenly spheres, yet remained closely connected to his disciples and exchanged letters of encouragement with them. Rabbi Noah Naftali Palavski of Kabrin was born to Rabbi Yisrael Ya'akov. After the death of his grandfather, he was appointed Rebbe in Kobrin. During his time he authored his sefer ”Avos - Babylonian and Yerushalmi”, he died in Kamin. His sons-in-law were Rabbi Yosef ben Rabbi Yehoshua ben Rabbi Moshe of Ludmir and Rabbi Mordechai the grandson (son of his daughter) Rabbi Mordechai of Lechvitch.
