Long Letter by Rabbi Shalom of Shotz - Long Letter by Rabbi Shalom of Shotz Rabbi Shalom of Shotz (1875 - 1958) was the son of Rabbi Mordechai of Sulita. At the young age of twenty-five he was appointed Rabbi of Shotz and its environs. He eventually heeded the request of his followers in London and moved there. Rabbi Shalom was renowned as a holy and pious scholar to whom thousand flocked for blessing. Until this very day, many go to his kever in London to pray for salvation. He was the Teacher of Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin.
