Quinton was a well known watercolor artist best known for his paintings of British villages and landscapes, many of which were published as postcards. Quinton enjoyed traveling the English countryside by bicycle, taking inspiration from these scenic tours and translating them to art. He would often sketch or photograph the scenes in the summer and paint the landscapes in his London studio in the winter months.
