Russian polygenre artist experimenting in different visual techniques. His first, still school experiences in photography, colored with adolescent maximalism, but touching on mature topics - the opposition to pain, violence, injustice - brought him fame among young people.After personal exhibitions in Zelenograd (2004), Tula (2005), St. Petersburg (2011) Sergey Shekherov received recognition as a portrait photographer. However, soon his creative vector shifted from figurative art towards more saturated with images and ideas of abstractionism. In 2015, Shekherov's installation City Space won the prestigious Art and the City competition (Tula), in which the most significant techniques for the artist - collage, painting and photography - interacted not only with each other, but also attracted active participation in the creative process of the audience.
In recent years, his works at the junction of genres have been actively acquired by private collectors from Austria, Germany, Italy, Russia, USA, Ukraine, Czech Republic.
