Doll's House from the Doll's House Emporium. This intricate handmade doll's house is a very special lot for a few reasons. Hours of work has amounted to an incredible doll's house that any child would be enamoured with or any collector could cherish. With lighting wired in on stoves and fireplaces. Each of the over 1,000 bricks on the front of this house has been placed and pointed individually. The vendor of this lot will be donating the entirety of the hammer price to Alderhey Children's Hospital as an act of Christmas goodwill. We in turn are donating any of our own profits on this lot as an addition to the vendor's generous donation. The description reads 'This magnificent residence befits the country seat of a Duke. With spectacular steps up to the grand entrance, and marbled hall with tapered columns, this is a very impressive home. The servants' quarters below stairs, the proportions of the salons and the grand main staircase are all features resplendent of a very fine country house'. The doll's house is unfurnished, however the furnishings and dolls which fit in this dolls house are available on the next lot. Overall dimensions: 1051mm x 499mm x 1077mm.
