Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Thambar 2.2/9 cm
Il nome Thambar deriva dal greco e può essere tradotto come 'qualcosa che suscita meraviglia'. E' stato progettato agli inizi degli anni Trenta da Max Berek, con uno schema ottico composto da 4 lenti in tre gruppi. La produzione iniziò nel 1934 e si concluse nel 1940, esclusivamente con ottiche dotate d'innesto a vite m39 e con una produzione ufficiale di circa 3200 esemplari. Questo è in condizioni quasi perfette, con lenti pulite e senza graffi, dotato di tappi, paraluce e del famoso filtro 'soft focus' con bolla argentata centrale. Si tratta di un pezzo abbastanza raro. Tutto è originale e funzionante.
The name Thambar derives from the Greek and can be translated as 'something that arouses wonder'. Designed in the early 30s by Max Berek with an optical scheme consisting of 4 lenses in three groups. The production began in 1934 and ended in 1940, exclusively with optics equipped with m39 screw mount. With an official production of about 3200 specimens. In almost perfect condition, with clean and scratch-free lenses, equipped with caps, lens hood, and the famous 'soft focus' filter and with a central silver-plated bubble. Everything is original, rare, and functional.
