A whalebone walking stick cane - England early 20th Century
whalebone "L" handle on a round whalebone shaft made from a single piece of bone, gilded metal collar with monogram and base metal ferrule. Whalebone stick are predominantly from the East coast ports of the USA and from British ports such as Whitby, Hull and Leith. Weight 303 gr, height 80.5 cm. Item condition grading: **** good. Ce.S.Ar. Certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
