GOEDAERT, Johannes (1617, battezzato-1668 ) - Histoire naturelle des insectes selon leurs différentes métamorphoses. The Hague: Adrien Moetiens, 1700. A fine copy of these richly illustrated volumes on insects. 3 volumes, 8vo (154 x 96mm). Engraved titles, engraved portrait of the author, 127 engraved plates, woodcut vignette, with final blanks (some browning, light spotting). Contemporary spotted calf, gilt spines, speckled edges (extremities very lightly rubbed). Provenance: Pierre Lambert (bookplate) - Vittorio Arioli (bookplate).
