Silver Perpetual Light Ner Tamid Bowl, Djerba, Tunisia, Circa 1900, Judaica.
Of round shape, adorned around the outer rim with birds, fish and the priestly benediction symbol, inscribed in Hebrew - LeAalot Ner Tamid (To light perpetual light).
This bowl had two major uses; one was collecting charity in cemeteries and synagogues in memory of a certain person and the other is a bowl for lighting an oil lamp in memory of a certain person who passed away.
