Both screens seem to be from the early Qing dyn.
One depicts on one side a young boy bowing to an elder man, seated on a wooden wheelchair, which is propelled by his servant. A woman and a young boy enjoy the scene from the threshold. the other side depicting a poem.
Losses to poem and painting due to age.
size 37.5x29 cm.
The other table screen much bigger, depicting on one side a group of scholars, other side a signed poem.
size 50x40.3 cm.
Both marble screens suffer from losses of color and wear due to age.
Both wood frames appear to be made from an expensive grained wood (may be zitan wood). The larger screen is missing a part of its' wooden base, the other part connecting the 2 legs is broken and , probably not original.
