Puritani is an original artwork realized in the 1870s by Antonio Manganaro.
This beautiful print is plate n. XLVI (as printed on the higher part of the artwork) from "The album of the 500" (Album dei 500), Tipografia De Angelis, Naples, and represents a satirical scene of Italian politicians of the late XIX century.
On the back, there is the complete biography of two politicians: Scipione De Blasio and Pietro Toscano.
Signed on plate on the lower right: Manganaro. Title printed on the lower center: Puritani.
Good conditions, except for the yellowed paper due to the time.
