219 pages. 21 x 15 cm. On page 132, in the month of June, is a poem by Pablo Neruda entitled La querida del alférez (a poem which appears in the book Anillos). Black and white illustrations. The book contains an exlibris stamp of a former owner, Santiago Torres y Castro, and a stamp which states “obsequio del Palacio del libro, Montevideo”. The owner has written numerous notes in it. Other authors that appear in the almanac as well as Neruda are Miguel de Unamuno, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Ortega y Gasset, Guillermo de Torre, Antonio Machado, Baroja, Juan Gris, Alberti, Moreno Villa, F. García Lorca (poem “ Romance con Lagunas” on pages 69- 71, including a drawing of Lorca by Moreno Villa.), Antonio Marichalar (on page 86 is a drawing with Antonio Marichalar’s signature, and on page 87 there is a text by the author entitled “El Ido: Raine Maria Rilke”), Gerardo Diego, Pessoa, Miró, Ramón Gómez de la Serna, Borges, Azorín and many others. In its original cover. There is a later half bound binding, the covers are brown with a hubbed spine and gilt letters.
