A RUSSIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL BESAMIM SPICE TOWER
A very beautifully executed besamim - a tower for spices made of silver with gilding. The entire surface is decorated with polychrome enamel on filigree. Each enamel detail has a color transition from lighter to more intense shade. Hallmarks: rectangular stamp with the initials of master "B.A", an assay stamp "A.C" over the date 1894, a stamp of 84 silver standard, and the coat of arms of Moscow with the image of St. George the Victorious.Weight: 13.7 oz., 390 g.
